Ottawa’s Best Sugar Shacks
Maple syrup season usually starts in late February and can run into April – a late winter and spring highlight! Ideal temperatures of +5° Celsius (41° Fahrenheit) during the day and -5° Celsius (23° Fahrenheit) during the night start the sap running through the trees.
Fulton’s Pancake House and Sugar Bush

The sugar bush season at Fulton’s runs from February 16 – April 22. Weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm, and Weekends from 8 am – 3 pm

Temple’s Sugar Camp Restaurant
1700 Ferguson’s Falls Road, Lanark
Temple’s Sugar Camp restaurant opens for the season on March 1st, and is open until the end of April. Wednesday – Sunday 9:00 am-3:00 pm.

Omega Park
Omega Park, located in Montebello, Que. – just a 45-minute drive from downtown Ottawa – is a large wildlife park where Canadian animals and First Nations’ history are the focus.
Stanley’s Olde Maple Lane Farm

Opening day is February 23th, and will run Saturdays & Sundays 9am-3pm until April 21st, and through March Break.

Bean Town Ranch

Bean Town Sugar Shack is open from March 16th to April 21st, seatings from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm on Saturdays, and until 4:00 pm on Sundays.
Maple Sugar Shack and Festival at Vanier Museopark

The sugar shack will be open every weekend from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. between March and April.
Maple Weekend
Syrup Producers’ Association will be hosting the sixth Annual Maple Weekend on April 4 ~ 5, 2020 from 10 AM to 4 PM. Participants in Maple Weekend can be found across the province in a number of maple syrup producing areas.
